Buy a new car is to make the second most expensive purchase most people. Annually churn manufacturers finest cars with latest gadgets. It is very tempting to buy a new car, especially in autumn, when traders their prices to make room for the next year to slash inventory. A new car is good for your soul, but bad for your wallet.

As new car prices is increasing year after year while our wages stagnate still air, it is now used for most of us wise. The good news is that it’s a buyers market in the world market for used cars. Dealers are difficult, as free, their stocks and buying a private party, you will save hundreds if not thousands of dollars from a trader buys.

My second favorite car in the 3K range model 1996 Honda Civic four-door manual transmission. It’s a Honda, I need to say more? It offers impressive fuel economy and is a pleasure to drive. But the old problem with Honda is that it is difficult to find one that did not reinforced by young people. Try one that is related to any stocks.

I recommend ebay when buying used cars, but only if the seller is the place for you. I can not believe many people are willing to pay thousands of dollars on a car they have not seen in person. advertisements in local newspapers are also a good way to find cheap cars. I recommend not to auctions. Most of the test cars can not be drawn into an auction, it’s really buyer beware.

Once you have a car, it’s time to do a little digging the story is. Get a Carfax report and make sure the car has no history of accidents or water damage. It will save you many headaches down the road. No matter how nice and clean air is a car, you never really know the story of a car if you have a Carfax report.

If everything is clear again, the seller, for a test drive. Visit the early morning hours when the weather is cool. Be sure to tell the owner not to start the car before your arrival. A car with issues, more difficult to start when the engine is cold.

But before you start the car, pop the hood and check the engine and transmission oil. The engine oil should be a translucent brown color, while the oil of the box must have a translucent pink color. If the engine oil is black, then it should be a red flag. The owner is not fulfilling even the basics of car maintenance. There are probably other things the car needs attention. When the oil is black, then forget it. The car will probably be serious problems on the road.
